The memories you will hold forever

Once the speeches have been said, the cake has been eaten, and the guests have gone home, you’ll still have the day. The breath you took away from the crowd. The laugh at a speech. The five quiet minutes you were glad you gave. A gallery you can open again, and find it still feels like yours.

Book Your Wedding

A trusted, calm presence on your day.

Weddings are often stressful, and you can miss your own celebration because you are busy hosting. I will be a friendly face you can be yourselves with, and I will pull you away from the crowd for a little while, just the two of you, so you can breathe and remember that you just got married. I hold a timeline, then adjust it to what you actually want.

If you are laid back, I let things unfold. I will not push you into long posed sets that are not you. I also know what a gallery needs. One bride was ready to rejoin the party. I asked for five quiet minutes. Afterwards she was glad she had those portraits, because she had put so much into getting ready. I stay with the guests, talk with family, and laugh at the speeches, so a camera feels less like a performance. I also know when not to photograph. Some moments should stay moments. If I can keep a frame without interrupting, I will. If I cannot, the camera stays down.

“I am quite literally obsessed with them. I want them on every wall of my house.”

A face you already know

I like to know a couple before the day. A consultation call comes before booking, so you can put a face to the name, talk through what you are planning, and feel the excitement together. The way I work then shapes itself to you. The edit stays cinematic and true to Salt & Saddle. The way I move through the day changes with my couples.

The Process

1. Let’s Get to Know Each Other

Write when you are ready. Tell me who you are, what you are planning, and how you want the day to feel. We will set a consultation call so you can put a face to the name before anything is booked. I will write back within 48 hours with our next steps.

2. The day is yours

Once the date is agreed, a contract and invoice are sent for your approval. When those are signed and the deposit is paid, the day is held for you. No competing booking sits on it. From there we can plan around what you actually want, not a template.

3. Finding the feeling

We talk through the places, the people, and the pace of the day, by email or on a call. I listen first, then offer notes on portraits, timing and what a gallery usually needs. If you are laid back, we keep it that way. If a few frames will matter later, I will say so.

4. The Quiet Details

Then we settle the practical pieces. A timeline, meeting points, family formals, weather plans and who to call on the day. These notes stay in the background on purpose, so you can be present rather than managing a list.

5. Your wedding day

I arrive as someone you already know, a calm presence in your corner. There is time away from the crowd for the two of you, and I adjust the plan if the day asks for it. I stay with your guests and the speeches too, and I step back when a moment should be left alone.

6. Your gallery comes home

After the day I choose each frame by hand and edit it in a cinematic style. Wedding galleries are usually ready in three to four weeks, delivered online and ready to live with. Film rolls or polaroids, if added to your package, come home with the work as well.
