Booking & Payment Policy

Securing your date: To lock in your session or wedding date, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
Retainer purpose: This deposit reserves your specific date and time on my calendar, meaning I turn away all other inquiries for that slot.
Final balance: The remaining balance for lifestyle sessions (families, couples, and branding) is due on or before the day of your shoot. For weddings, the final balance is due strictly 30 days before the wedding date.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
My approach: I understand that life happens—kids get sick, work schedules shift, or unexpected events pop up. I am always happy to accommodate reschedules wherever possible.
Rescheduling: If you need to change your date, your non-refundable deposit will transfer directly to your new scheduled date, provided I have availability.
Cancellations: If you choose to cancel your session entirely without rescheduling, the deposit remains strictly non-refundable.
No-shows: Failing to show up to your session without any prior notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

Wet Weather Policy (For Outdoor Shoots)
The call: I monitor the local radar closely leading up to outdoor sessions. A final decision regarding rain or severe storms is typically made 2 to 3 hours before the shoot.
The process: If the weather looks unsafe or too wet to shoot, I will get in touch to pivot.
Your options: You can choose to brave light rain (which can look beautiful and romantic!), shift to an indoor studio/backup location, or reschedule to my next available date at no extra cost.
Indoor expenses: If you choose to move to an indoor studio that charges a hire fee, you will be responsible for covering that venue cost.

Photographer Emergency & Illness Policy
For Lifestyle & Branding Sessions: In the rare event that I am too ill to shoot or have a personal emergency, we will simply reschedule your session to the next available date that suits you. Your deposit will remain fully secure.
For Weddings: Because your wedding date cannot be moved, if a severe illness or extreme emergency prevents me from shooting, I will do everything in my power to find a qualified, trusted replacement photographer of equal skill to cover your day. If a suitable replacement absolutely cannot be found, a full refund of all money paid (including your deposit) will be issued.

Wedding Timeline Changes
Date moves: If your wedding date changes, please contact me immediately to check my availability. If I am available, your deposit will transfer to the new date. If I am already booked for your new date, the deposit is forfeited.
